I would like to say an enormous thank you to Delancey for once again sponsoring the Championships in 2013 and for their confirmed support of the 2014 event. Special thanks have to go once again to the Chairman of Delancey’s Advisory Board, Sir John Ritblat. 2013 will be the 35th year that Sir John has been involved with sponsorship of the sport; we say every year what a fantastic effort this is but once again he and his son Jamie have ensured that this event can continue.
“The British National Alpine Ski Championships is one of the most important dates on the British ski calendar, and provides many of the country’s younger racers with their first opportunity to compete on snow against a top class field.” Jamie Ritblat, CEO, Delancey Meribel Tourism and the ESF in Meribel have given us enormous support over the years and continue to do so and as such we are delighted to announce a partnership between these local organisations and BSS represented by the Organising Committee.
In 2013 we will endeavour to provide our competitors and their supporters with the best value for money event possible. In 2011, we introduced a voucher scheme to bring you better value food, drink, accommodation and entertainment within Meribel; we built on this in 2012 and this year we aim to continue on its success and offer you bigger and better deals.
